Who We Are
Tessa Atwood began quilting as a hobby in 1995. A self taught quilter, she quickly emerged herself into the quilt world. Before long she found herself working in a quilt shop and soon became their quilting instructor. She taught both traditional and contemporary design. Classes spanned all categories of quilting from machine piecing, machine and hand-quilting, machine and hand applique, watercolors, landscape quilts, fabric folding...you name it!
In 2001, Tessa purchased Calliope, her 14 ft Gammill Classic long-arm quilting machine and has been providing quilting services ever since.
In 2004, Tessa had her first child and left the fabric store and instructing to stay at home full-time with her daughter, Sawyer. In 2006, came the second child, this time a boy named Garrison, to round out the family at HHQ.
